- food
- hugs
- drinks
- a strong bond
- kisses
- a bed
- even the flu:(
So when Max got the flu earlier this week, I knew it was only a matter of time before it was my turn. Much to my surprise, it hit my mom and brother before it took me down. And I mean - really took me down! That was terrible, so I will spare you all the awful details of the mighty stomach bug that invaded the Raber house!!
To tell you the truth, there isn't much that me and Max don't share (this being intensified when we became our own little family). Then I started thinking - is there anything I wouldn't share with Max? I mean, come on, I even gave in and started sharing my Oreo cakesters...those are sacred to me:)
So tell me, is there anything in your life that you wouldn't share? I can't wait to hear your responses!! Cause let me just tell ya, a couple of posts ago I was amazed with your comments about your "dreams." I loved all your inspiring comments and can't wait for some of those dreams to come true for some of you:) My blogging buddies bring so much inspiration to my life!!
Here are a couple pictures taken today of Max wearing the glasses that his Nana was kind enough to "share" with him:)!!

Abbie, I love your post:) You always get me thinking.. I am alot like you though, I share everything with Austin and Hailee. I mean everything to. I share memories, strong mother/son/daughter bonds, hugs, kisses, a bed, food, drinks, bathtub with Hailee, and so much more. Kids are so amazing and how could you not share with them. I love reading about the many things that you and Max do. Enjoy all your moments you have!
Abbie,
I am new to blogging and I love reading your blog. I am so inspired by your faith and the love that you have for that adorable little Max. It brings me to tears. I am praying like crazy for you and Max. It seems like God has you by the hand and you are having a great season in life when most would've withdrawn. You are an awesome mom-someone for lil' ol pregnant me to look up to! Love ya girl! Kristy Mac
Great post Abby! I too share most everything with my babies. Although right now they are still so young and don't understand I lot of things, I don't and will never share adult issues. There are just some things I don't think my kids need to know. I don't want them to know the struggles I face physically and emotionally with my diabetes. Parker is just learning that I rely on my pump and medicine. I don't want to share so much that he's scared, thinks it is his fault, or worries about how he can fix things. I notice if he sees me cry, he gets a lot of anxiety and begs me to stop. I try to cry in my own privacy because I don't want to share my hurting with him. But anything materialistic and loving is TOTALLY up for sharing!!!!!
i'm pretty sure the only thing i don't share w/ B are my worries... he's kinda young for that, but i also know that he is smart enough to know when momma is having a "down day" or not herself too...
I don't share my Ben & Jerry's.
Just try to pry that out of my hands.
but that's the only thing!!
I agree with April...we don't share our worries and do our best not to "share" arguments in front of them...I share everything with my boys...well, I used to treasure my Lorna Doone 100 Calorie Packs-but now I even share those!!
